Yesterday, our team at McIntyre Crane & Rigging took on an exciting project in Calgary’s Northeast. Our clients needed us to transport and hoist prebuilt home sections into place on a new lot. These sections were constructed off-site in a warehouse and arrived ready for installation, an innovative solution that saves valuable time without sacrificing quality.
Pikey managed the transport, while our crew prepared the 50-ton Manitex 50155SHL for the lift. Once the staircase sections arrived, our skilled crane operators went to work. The lift was smooth and efficient, and while the construction crew still had to fasten everything in place, the time savings compared to building two staircases entirely on site were remarkable.
Next came the floor sections. These were heavier than the stairs, but no challenge for our Calgary crane service team. With precise rigging and steady teamwork, each section was placed precisely where it needed to be. The project is still ongoing, with more sections to be hoisted in the coming days, but so far, everything has gone according to plan. We will share more updates as the work continues.
