Building Alberta one lift at a time
The three-acre central park located in the University District NW, Calgary, Alberta will be a four-season gathering place for social events and activities. University District’s Central Park will feature a winter skating rink with a cooling system, a staging area for concerts, picnic area with tables, a water fountain feature, interactive play feature for all ages, patio space, public washroom and showers for bike commuters. McIntyre Crane & Rigging Ltd. had the opportunity to hoist the roofing material for the main buildings on Block 23. Our crew were on site ready to lift before our customer started their shift. Site preparation and equipment set up are no easy task, our crew are always ready and willing to arrive on site with appropriate time to be ready for the first lift. Working with our customer we were able to offload 7 tractor trailers and place nearly 100 lifts of roofing material in one continuous shift using our 200 ton mobile crane.
